Forget Lemonade…

We all know the phrase, “If life deals you lemons, make lemonade”. And we can all attest to the fact that we probably have made some tasty lemonade in our time. Some of us have probably made such strange recipes, that we’ve forgotten that lemons were the base. So why stop there? Success is sweet!

While all of those creative recipes are yummy, did they take away the bitter taste? Let’s take it a step further:

  • Ask for more lemons to get the best pucker face that you can. Get your friends involved. Then make a video telling your story and post it online. The bitter face talking should make for some hilarious moments to lift others out of their funk.
  • Make a recipe from the lemons, and return the new product to the givers. Charge them for the work.
  • Plant the seeds, and rake in the profits from your new venture.
  • Ask someone else what they did with their lemons. Who knows what you’ll learn.
  • Hey, lemons are used in everything. Trade it for something you really want.
  • And if all else fails, you’ll never be thirsty or hungry.

So, you’re getting the idea of where I’m going with this. Think outside of the box for potential outcomes, and tap the seeds of creativity hidden under all of that pulp. The returns will probably make the person who started this whole thing as green as a pea. Trust me, they’re not nearly as popular as lemons!
