Thought For The Day – If You Want To Learn Something

I’ve feel like I’ve wasted so much time reading mainstream news and expert commentaries. I’m sure that I’ll give them a little of my time, but not too much anymore. Thought for the day: If you want to learn something mind-altering, then don’t follow status quo. Follow the people – individually. Go search them out, read their words, and learn viewpoints that work in life. Become inspired by the words that can be heard above the white noise.

Experts aren’t all that they’re cracked up to be! Sure, they’ve spent their lives studying their belief system, but do their words inspire you to test their theories for yourself? If the answer is “NO!”, then I don’t think that they’ve made their case adequately. Truth requires a passion that drives the message. At least, that’s what I like to believe. For isn’t it when we’re moved to think or act in favor of a truth that’s become your own, that we work to make that truth a reality?

So, while mainstream news occasionally gets out something worthwhile to hear, they don’t do it consistently enough for me to give them my time or effort. Especially when they only bury it, and make it impossible to find.

But those people who SHOW me in words and images just how powerful their truth is to them, well, that’s something that is worthwhile to study and learn. Because it moved them enough to make an effort to forward it for others to experience. That’s when truth takes on a power of its own, because the collective stands behind it and works for its reality. This is the power of humanity. This is the power of what drives us all. This is something worthwhile to learn.
