We are all children at heart, and sometimes that is what it takes to come up with creative genius that makes you smile in wonder. Aleksei Bitskoff is one such artist, and his drawings remind me of some of my most precious childhood memories. He has a fondness for creatures and monsters, as noted by his illustrations for a new book that he co-illustrated. The image above, entitled “Me and You” is from a picture book which won third place in the MacMillan Children’s Picture Book Award.
