When Ai Weiwei wants to make a statement, he doesn’t stop until it shouts. His newest exhibition at Taipei’s Fine Arts Museum is titled, Ai Weiwei, Absent, but his presence will surely be felt through his works. This piece consists of 1,000 bicycles and comments on the rapid changes happening in Chinese society. The exhibition starts on October 29, 2011 and will run to January 29, 2012. Unfortunately, he won’t be there as he is still confined to Beijing.
