Note: (added July 17, 2011) I noticed that the NFL took down this video (and I’m assuming many others) due to copyright claims. While I completely understand copyright ownership, these videos serve a purpose as free marketing for you money-hungry corporations. At some point, you’re going to have to decide whether your fans are more important than your profit margins. But I’m not holding my breath! I hope that bonemanace doesn’t mind, but I wanted to share this video and give him credit for putting together some incredible footage. Yes, most of you guys out there will think that I’m a fan of Clay Matthews because of his looks and hair. Well, sure, I’m human and have eyes. But it’s not (totally) where his appeal lies with me.
Sports produces some beautiful motions that just leave you breathless. Growing up as a tomboy has fueled my love for movement. My favorite is football, and I’ve always been a fan of the Chicago Bears until I saw this guy playing. While I’m still a fan of the Bears, I’m now a huge fan of No. 52 on the Green Bay Packers. That guy simply is poetry in motion. Ok, maybe not poetry because he’s not at all delicate as prose, but I think you get what I mean. This guy has me glued to the tv whenever he’s on. And off the field, he also sounds pretty incredible as well. I’m pretty sure that if I ever met him, I’d just stand there staring at him speechless. Great things do that to me sometimes.
But he is only one in a multitude of sports that is beauty in motion. It’s not always about pretty colors or thoughtful subjects. Sometimes it’s simply the appreciation of the actual moments that we feel to enrich that experience we call LIFE.

I guess it’s the way that you look at it. My perspective is that I have inspirations to share, and they also allow my own creations to flourish. That you all are enjoying it is my reward, as I’ve made your day a little better, hopefully. But I don’t want to spend all my time talking in my own words which is why I share other originating posts or links so that you hear another point of view. Their viewpoints are just as valid as mine.
