Imagine With Reason, Unless…

Imagination is the key to creativity. But it’s not only used in the artistic sense. It’s used by every living creature, so that they can grow and survive in their environment. And sometimes it’s used to give us a boost of an adrenaline rush. But in unknown situations or surroundings, it can also kick start our fight or flight instincts which can lead us to stop thinking coherently. This can have disastrous effects if reasoning isn’t used in conjunction with imagination during those critically decisive moments outside of life or death situations. Imagination is great when you’re innovating, but it has to be tempered with the right logical counterbalance when you’re simply surviving.
