Big Think has a pretty straightforward article and video (see above) about how entrepreneurs do what they do. It’s a simple message, but something that few want to entertain because it’s scary. Well, this path ranks up there with flying in the space program. It’s not for the weak-of-heart or the short termer. It’s for those who don’t see it as work, but as a calling. It’s for those who will put in all that they have, and then put in some more to make it happen. But if you do have an inspiration that nips at you on a daily basis, it is up to you to do something about making it come true. Whatever the goal, you have to start it now.
This message is coming from a guy who is pretty well known in his field. So don’t take it from me, take it from him. Or better yet, take it up for yourself. This world needs new ideas and inspirations to grow. Just make sure that you’re prepared for the ride, because it’s a bumpy one.
And if you want some inspiring words, then read Seth Godin’s blog. He’s pretty much right on the money.
