Sometimes It Feels Like Two Different Worlds

As another day is added to the day since I joined Twitter, I see tweets that seem to come from two different worlds. On one side, those creative (from many disciplines) types, who I have found and follow, are having amazing new dreams and turning them into reality. But on the other, there are those who are definitely not creating and their tweets show the disharmony that rends their world and ours.

I tend to follow my tweet timeline (and those others that I’m lucky enough to find) more than I do mainstream news, because there are so many people out there around the world that clearly can do inspiration to a level that streaks into outer space. Thanks goodness for these people, because they give me more inspiration to create my words from the thoughts that swirl in my head. So many thoughts fighting to be the one that starts a chain of words that soon becomes a cohesive idea that tempts me to see how far I can take it. I really wish that those people who are driven to create something new could run the world for a while, so that perhaps we can put civilization back on the right path.

So for all of you who have inspired me and to those who will, I wanted to forward this as my thanks to you. It’s a video of Eric Whitacre on Ted Talks:

And here’s the entire Virtual Choir video that will bring you to tears:

This should inspire us all. I know that I am ready to do so much more than I ever thought was possible after hearing this.
