I haven’t talked about street art in a while, but it’s not because there’s a lack of amazing ones out there. But this one really caught my eye because of the tranquility of the subject, which is a little unusual in the passionate imagery that inspires street art. The City of Lotz in Poland is making a rather unique stand by embracing this art form and co-financing a permanent exhibition called Urban Forms Gallery under the patronage of the Mayor of Lodz and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in Poland. This seemed like a great thing to share, simply because not to many cities openly embrace the concept of street art. This exhibition is definitely a first in the annals of street art history. – found in My Modern Met
