I came across this image from National Geographics a few days ago and have been mesmerized by the play of sunlight around the river bushman. The image gives him such a luminescent quality that he appears heroic and supernatural. It also reminds me that we humans really are the stewards of our world, and this might be how we appear to creatures smaller and less powerful than us. Something to think of whenever we do something that impacts the world around us.
