A tweet sent me to the site called Letters of Note, which had me perusing out of curiosity. The letters are an amazing glimpse into the minds of some of the most historical people of time past and present. But considering that I’m a writer who grew up with science fiction, the letter above caught my attention. Isaac Asimov wrote many of the books that got me hooked onto the genre (though there were many, many more inspirations, he was my first). He opened my eyes and mind to possibilities that transferred me to an alternate place in my universe. Reading the words above, it’s no mistake why he became a writer. It’s also pretty evident that I have so much inspiration to follow that I can’t do anything but what I chose to do. Write. Create. Try.
p.s. Seriously go read some of the letters that are posted there. You will find something that will inspire your actions.
