** STOP CENSORSHIP! **
Our censorship fight with the US Congress is far from over, as they continue to attempt to break the Internet with legislations driven by crony capitalism in the US and abroad. Though SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act) have been pulled back for now, more continue to follow them. Now, we have to contend with ACTA (more) and TPP (2), which are international attempts to censor and control the Internet for the sake of commerce. And if that's not enough, now there's CISPA (more).

Especially now that lobbyists are admitting out loud that they expect to be rewarded for their "contributions": Read it on TorrentFreakThanks for visiting!

It sounds like an interesting meeting of the minds. What would happen if you had a conversation between a school (like the Norwegian School of Economics) and a group of street artists. Two groups of people from completely divergent sections … Continue reading
A Radiant Child Is A Tribute
My eyes were transfixed on this emotional image painted by David Flores. Branded Arts asked for a tribute for New York graffiti artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. The moodiness of the colors and with the geometric compilation of his expression makes for … Continue reading
Here’s Your Message People
http://youtu.be/N8o3peQq79Q Well, everyone wanted a message from the Occupy Wall Street / Occupy Together movements. Here you are. It pretty thoroughly delineates the issues that we all face as a nation, and as as world. You really can’t listen to the litany … Continue reading
Memories Of Japan
I was going through my tweet timeline when I stumbled on a question and answer put out by National Geographic Traveler. Amy Alipio answered a question with the following, “A7. Love how in any Japanese store they’ll wrap your purchase … Continue reading
What A Great Start To The Week – Lost Footage Found Again
We heard the news that changed our lives forever on 10/5/2011. It wasn’t great news (see 10/5 post below). It was awful because we lost a great inspiration for us all. Whatever anyone says about him personally, the man changed … Continue reading
Voices Heard
Hmmm, I just realized that I got this a little wrong. It’s happening around the world. Which makes it even more amazing! How often do you see this happen in … Continue reading
Faces Unseen
These are the faces of those that go unseen, even when they are right in front of us. It’s not a comfortable subject for most people, because those unseen … Continue reading
Cloud Cities In Berlin
As I’m such an avid fan of flying, this exhibit is really whetting my appetite to play in the clouds. Cloud Cities is an exhibit at the Hamburger Bahnhof Museum … Continue reading
A Beautiful Stroke On A Wall
A small section of the exhibit at the Nuart Festival in Norway I found another insanely gorgeous duo of street artists who go by Herakut. Both are from Germany, who started to work together the day before they met. But … Continue reading
