Fashion photography is usually pretty straightforward. In this case, the image is anything but a historical masterpiece. Natalie Dybisz, aka Miss Aniela, creates surreal fashion photography that melds dreams into historical fashion to create an almost theatrical photo production that draws the viewer into the image’s narrative. The image above is my most favorite from theĀ My Modern Met’s post by Pinar. The contributors there have an amazing eye for finding some true inspiration in our creative world. But this image called “Storm Door” is something on another level altogether, as is all of Natalie’s work because they hint at the different artistic styles that impact her eye for beauty. Miss Aniela really has a beautiful mind, and makes a history that never looked like this. Thanks Pinar from My Modern Met for this jaw-dropping deep beauty. And for reminding me that it’s been a while since I experienced through a museum exhibit.
