I covered Dominic Wilcox a while back when he showed his initial watch sculptures, Moments in Time. Well, it looks like Dominic’s back with more moments in time that speak to significant moments in 2011. They portray feelings of fragmentation as time itself sometimes seems, usually because of our own actions. This new series includes: 1) Love and Protest 2) UC Davis Protest, 3) Captured, 4) The Beautiful Game, and 5) Comfortably Oblivious.
These creations are as amazing as ever, even if they show a sometimes uncomfortable side to our society and to human nature. He really does have an amazing creativity, doesn’t he? I can’t wait to see what he’ll do next!
