So I have barely brought up economics this year on my blog (this is a blog about inspiration, plus 2012 just started), but I just had to share this video (retweeted by @umairh and @MurphreeLinda). The conversation by Philip Auerswald is powerful, easy to get, and really, really relevant right at this very moment. Not only at this moment, but for our future as well. Our leaders don’t want to get this. Our economists don’t want to talk about this. Our people don’t want to think about this. But we have to…NOW!
I won’t be verbose in this post because I can’t do as good of a job as Philip does. He does it brilliantly, and in such an eloquent manner. These are the messages that we need to hear. And then we need to do something about it.

Those of you who know me, know that I’m pretty passionate about wanting change. I don’t pretend to have the knowledge that Philip has, but I do get what it takes to make a prosperous future for us all. This is the year that I actually use my skills to help it happen, along with so many others who are already moving in that direction. This is going to be an interesting year!
