Guardian’s Three Little Pigs

The Guardian UK is an international newspaper that always seems to be at the cutting edge of news presentation, especially on their online site. Their mission for open journalism is becoming a model that many follow and even try to emulate. But this new advertisement that they made of the Three Little Pigs story shows exactly how their model works in real life. It’s a powerful depiction whereby news and society are deeply enmeshed once again, and collaborate to help uncover the true story.

This is what journalism means, and this is journalism for the 21st century. Not to mention that this is a brilliant advertisement that helps everyone understand our modern times. Once again, the Guardian UK has taken it up a notch, and we are all the recipients of the rewards. Hopefully this model of open journalism becomes the new norm, and brings respectability back to a once noble profession. Fortunately, there are many who believe in it, including my other home, the Urban Times.
