The power of man and nature can be shown in graceful contrast. Canadian photographer Gregory Colbert clearly has a mastery of not only showing the power, but also the grace in both forms. His traveling exhibit, Ashes and Snow, shows in his Nomadic Museum, but his site is also a pleasure to visit. The passionate images along with that gorgeous music makes the viewer feel completely immersed in the experience, which is pretty remarkable for any web site.
But best of all is the fact that this experience also comes in a movie form which shows the true majesty of the potential relationship between man and nature. Here’s one haiku excerpt called Feather to Fire:
