Tiffany Shlain questioned what it meant to be connected in the 21st century. She had a personal connection to the idea because of her reciprocal desire to unplug from the world, at the same time she co-founded the Webby Awards. But her own personal experiences led her to understand that we are all interdependent, even as we fight for our independence. This movie, Connected, is another example of just how often we collaborate with one another, and depend on the sharing of knowledge and experiences. This award winning film is evidence of that fact, as it was made through cloud filmmaking.
