So, this week is going to be a light week because my brain needs a rest…and it’s a holiday in the US. This particular holiday should be meaningful to the whole world though because we’re celebrating our Independence Day. The day when a nation came into being after fighting off its oppressors. A day that is supposed to be about FREEDOM.
Take a look around. Can you honestly be proud of what we’ve become? This might be a good time for the whole world to sit back and think deeper than it ever has. We royally messed up when we created this existence. We’re no where near democracy in crucial areas of our lives. We have to realize that we have the answer to our problems: To work together collectively. Not for a stupid monetary return, but for something much more important: Our survival.

The one thing that Hollywood got right (and that’s saying a lot because they suck at a lot of things- like politics): We can’t be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will not go quietly into the night. We will not vanish without a fight. We’re fighting for our right to live.
It looks like democracy is about to get messy, folks!
