So I just found my copy of Haunted and have been glued to her song, “Hey Pretty”. I thought that today would be a good day to enjoy this song together. There is something about this song that gets to me – with the guy chatting behind the melody and providing a jarring stumble to the smooth tones. This whole album is a wonderful jazzy reminder that your day will go a lot smoother when you’ve found a beat that matches the sound that your soul resonates at.
