So, this is a little late, but my hubby sent me the Google doodle for Star Trek’s 46th anniversary. How did I not notice this doodle???!? Can you believe that Gene Roddenberry’s brain child is almost half a century old? We all have our favorite series (I’m a huge TNG fan myself, while my hubby loves the original), but we all know the mythos of the United Federation of Planets. The story started from a simple idea of a “wagon train to the stars”, and became a immense universe that brought outer space into our minds and homes.
So here you go, Star Trek fans, courtesy of Google and Ryan Germick. Isn’t Sulu adorable? And congratulations to those incredible people who made Star Trek what it is! 46? Wow!
