This Finnish artist has got some amazing work for one who is just starting out, having graduated from Metropolia University last year. Her water colors are whimsical and magical, and completely ready for the fairy tale world that she wants to enter. Riikka Auvinen‘s work has the look and feel of fairy tale images of yesteryear, though her favorite characters are actually sweet little vampires. But the one image that caught my eye on her Cuded exposure was the one above entitled something small. It’s clear once you’ve gone through her deviantART portfolio, that her talent is definitely NOT something small. I can’t wait to see how she grows and the stories that she will tell through her gorgeous watercolors.
