The Universe As We Know It

http://youtu.be/Qwi5L8jcXpg

We’ve seen many visualizations of how much of our universe we know. But what would that look like if the history of our astrophysics knowledgebase was depicted in an animated movie track that allows us to travel to the extent of what we know. Well, the American Museum of Natural History has made a video called The Known Universe that takes us on a journey through space and time through our efforts to understand the cosmos.  Be prepared to have your mind blown as we see how hundreds of years of studying our universe can be condensed into a 6-minute clip. That should give you a good understanding on just how much of an impact we have on the universe around us. And allow us to realize that there is still so much to learn about this life we lead in this immense cosmos that holds everything we know and have yet to know. Education continues as long as we stay curious and desire to learn. So, stay curious.
