It’s been a long time since I’ve had the chance to hear the Aspen Comics crew talk, since I just haven’t had the chance to go to SDCC in a long while. Here’s a first hand look at the current happenings at the studio that was started by the visions of the unforgettable and much-missed Michael Turner.
Take a look at the video brought to you by MTV, as Frank and Peter talk us through where Aspen Studios started and where it’s heading. We also get a chance to hear from Joe Benitez (of Wraithborn and Lady Mechanika fame), who got the monumental task of finishing of Michael’s dream for Soulfire. Enjoy hearing about their remembrances of a man whose inspirational vision created Aspen Studios. We still get to see Michael’s art live on, while also getting a taste for some new insane series like Lady Mechanika, Executive Assistant, Haunted City, Broken Pieces and much more go forward with a crew whose talents are proving that they will carry on the dream.
