What an appropriate time to create this game, Urbanology. BMW Guggenheim Lab has released this online game that allows the player to create urban settings based on their desired characteristics, in order to see how successful the model will be. Considering that our society worldwide is in tatters, maybe the real leaders of the world might want to follow the results closely to see how the people will fare with their own growth models. It’ll be interesting to see if a model comes out that can fix the mess that we’re currently in. Because I’m not counting on the real world fixing itself at the hands of those currently in charge. Hopefully, the people do better – though the initial attempts gave strange results.
