I stumbled on this image on My Modern Met, and was intrigued by it. Don’t they look like little pearls that escaped their oyster home and are now cavorting with playmates on a sandy shore. The playfulness of their appearance, from their shape to their wizened elfin faces, speak to our inner child telling us to go play with them. And they even float on water.
The Bubble Heads were the creation of the Berlin collective Mentalgassi for Getxo Photo 2011.
