Thought for the day – I saw this PSA on this isn’t happiness, taken at North 10 in NY, and thought that it’s the perfect line describing reality. Our normalcy is something that’s hard to swallow anymore, and this shows that a lot of us also can’t stomach it anymore. Argue all you want about protesters being unpatriotic, or that we should just shut up and take it, or even pull ourselves up by our bootstraps… but how is patriotism good when it’s just shoveling the crap downhill where most of us are trapped? Being comfortable doesn’t last forever, and life can change on a dime. What are you going to do when that happens?
