** STOP CENSORSHIP! **
Our censorship fight with the US Congress is far from over, as they continue to attempt to break the Internet with legislations driven by crony capitalism in the US and abroad. Though SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act) have been pulled back for now, more continue to follow them. Now, we have to contend with ACTA (more) and TPP (2), which are international attempts to censor and control the Internet for the sake of commerce. And if that's not enough, now there's CISPA (more).
Go to EFF.org to keep up with the legal news that impacts our world and its technology. The greed won't stop, so we have to stay vigilant as well. Especially now that lobbyists are admitting out loud that they expect to be rewarded for their "contributions": Read it on TorrentFreakThanks for visiting!

Macrowikinomics
So, all of this week, I’ve been feeling really put out. Like a horse that got put out into the middle of a dry desert with no horizon in sight. Yeah, I figured that the elections had partly to do … Continue reading
Connected the Film
Tiffany Shlain questioned what it meant to be connected in the 21st century. She had a personal connection to the idea because of her reciprocal desire to unplug from the world, at the same time she co-founded the Webby Awards. … Continue reading
The Cause of (My) Depression
Sorry but I have to get this out so that I can refocus. Check out this image by Donkey Hotey that describes the train wreck that is known as the US elections: … Continue reading
A Beautiful Story – The Girl and the Fox
http://vimeo.com/43332921 Stories of revenge don’t necessarily turn into a beautiful story, unless they’re being told by someone like Base14. It seems that this story is something new from this group, but it is definitely one that should be shared. Especially … Continue reading
A Ghostly Lesson
See the pilot here: http://vimeo.com/43180571 You know that I couldn’t resist this little masterpiece, right? A ghostly encounter between a little girl and a famed composer. One who goes by … Continue reading
Conquests by Frankie Rulez!!!
The idea of world domination (or even galactic domination) is hardly a new one. It’s what our history has partially been built on. But this new look by San Charoenchai has got to be one of the most hilarious takes on … Continue reading
A Beautiful Marriage Proposal
We’ve been seeing creative marriage proposals coming out of the wood works of late. And I have to say that as a writer, this one really rings true: And the … Continue reading
