** STOP CENSORSHIP! **
Our censorship fight with the US Congress is far from over, as they continue to attempt to break the Internet with legislations driven by crony capitalism in the US and abroad. Though SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act) have been pulled back for now, more continue to follow them. Now, we have to contend with ACTA (more) and TPP (2), which are international attempts to censor and control the Internet for the sake of commerce. And if that's not enough, now there's CISPA (more).
Go to EFF.org to keep up with the legal news that impacts our world and its technology. The greed won't stop, so we have to stay vigilant as well. Especially now that lobbyists are admitting out loud that they expect to be rewarded for their "contributions": Read it on TorrentFreakThanks for visiting!

Sympathies and Then…
I’ve been spending a lot of time crying for people I do not know in countries near and far. Time and time again, we humans show that we are capable of such cruelty. With each person that leaves before their … Continue reading
You Think They Don’t Understand You?
Did you really think that your little babies don’t understand what you’re saying? Maybe you even thought that you could get away with talking about certain things in front of them. Etienne Harris wanted to have a little love and … Continue reading
Support Is Always There…
Sometimes the world doesn’t notice when you drop out of sight, and it makes you wonder if you really are here. We’re always wondering about our reason of being, especially when that reason goes out of focus. It can happen … Continue reading
Expectations = RESPECT(?)
I’ve got to say that I’m a fan of GE commercials. Their ad campaigns always know how to touch us on an emotional level. But this one is a perfect example of the world we live in today. http://youtu.be/3xGoBlI_fdg We’re … Continue reading
Saving Your Passion
Today, I read an opinion piece from a fellow writer fighting against corporate strictures (it’s called How Corporate America Killed My Writing by Jim Sollisch). It resounded with me because I also feel the shackles that he fights against. I’m … Continue reading

We all love Dave Grohl. The man is just an awesome human being that I’d love to meet just once. We really need more guys like him: fun-loving, passionate, giving, and just an all-around big-hearted guy…like a beloved teddy bear … Continue reading
When Robots Dream
Do you remember your first cyberpunk novel? I started with William Gibson when I found out about the genre, and moved to Philip Dick and onward. Computers fascinate me, probably because I was at the beginning of their explosion into … Continue reading
