Good News For Loomis Fans

For all of you artists who are Andrew Loomis fans, Titan Books has just released a new facsimile edition printing of Figure Drawing for All Its Worth. His books are classic instructional books that everyone swears by if you want to learn the basics of figure drawing. There were six books in total, and from what I hear, Titan Books has plans to reprint Drawing the Head and Hands, Creative Illustration, and Fun With a Pencil as well.

Though there are PDF versions of these long out-of-print books floating around the Net, here’s your chance to get your hands on an actual hard copy without breaking the bank. Otherwise, be prepared to try your luck finding the now-expensive originals (like I did) on Ebay or at used books stores. Happy drawing!
