Strength In Style

As you probably already know, I visit DesignTaxi a lot. They always help me find some amazing creative inspirations that get my own mind going. The one place that I haven’t spent too much time browsing is their Creative Finder space, which has some amazing talents that would probably derail my productivity for days. But today, a glimpse caught my eye which told me that I had to see what was on offer.

And that’s how I found Sara Tyson. Sara has been creating these types of powerful images for over 25 years, and has a slew of well-known clients and accomplishments to her name. But I think what draws me to her is the multifaceted layers of color, shapes, emotion, and message all bound into an image that manages to convey the intent directly. Her style is lush with symbolism and reminds you of a style that she admires: Byzantine art. But what I like the most is that she brings with her a sense that you’re looking at humanity as how we really are: flawed, fragmented, yet colorful and still beautiful. This is art at its best!

It’s good to find people who can inspire you to come up with your own amazing creations. Go out there and find those people who inspire you, or find some who is still waiting to be discovered, then share them with the world. This is how beauty spreads. Simple, right?
