OFFF Barcelona 2012 is now showing off the truly inspirational creations that come from our minds to feed the future. I stumbled across this staff pick from Vimeo and had to laugh at it’s message. It was done with good humor, but also shows us that there are always repercussions for every action we do. And the type of repercussions that come from military solutions aren’t ones that we can afford to keep repeating.
While the military has done a lot for development of technology, it’s peacekeeping actions leave a lot to be desired. Some situations require a more delicate touch than a hammer can bring. Or in this case, a laser-wielding satellite or five. I feel a whole lot better when technology is put into responsible hands that create and nurture. Just saying…
