Are Memories Good?

We all have memories, but are they all good? I guess it depends on what you’re concentrating on. There’s a Vimeo video that just came out called “The Lost & Found Shop” that is incredibly unique and so full of life. It’s hard to believe that Caleb Slain managed to capture it in less than 3 days on a limited budget. While it’s budget might be small, it’s imagination is immense and it shows in the story. You would think that a childhood memory would be heartwarming, but there’s more to the story than meets the eye. What we see is not the same as what the person holding the memory sees. They have a lifetime of experiences tied into their own memories, and we are but bystanders let in for just a moment or two as they share it with us.

But wouldn’t it be amazing if we could each have a memory player that could easily play back those memories in living color, just like they happened. We’d be able to reach into our past and connect with loved ones lost, or even see details that we might have missed back then.

Share this short because it really is a quite special. And check out other things that Caleb’s done. I know I will. Unsurprisingly, everyone loves his work, and it’s easy to see why.
