From the Comic Archive (2011):
Today (well, most days) is one of those days that I wish I were rich. There’s so much in this world that needs fixing. So much that is unfair. When I just checked back into Twitter, I saw a tweet that had me wondering about what was going on with Jason Pearson, who is another comic artist that I LOVE! Just a few clicks through and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. How can a man as talented as Jason possibly be pushed aside by the big studios until he’s suffering?! I haven’t followed him as long as most of his fans, but I fell in love with his creation Body Bags and again through Dead Pool, The Ride, and so many more titles. You can see his skewed sense of humor in his work, and that’s what drew me to him. Whenever I see his name, I click to see what’s going on. I would love to meet him in person to tell him that he has one more fan who thinks that he’s AMAZING. It’s so sad that someone of his caliber is feeling the pummeling that we’re all going through. This shouldn’t be happening! I’m so glad that the comic industry and fans are as close as they are, because they managed to get to him in time.
Best wishes, Jason. You will return stronger than ever. I don’t know you personally, but I am a huge fan! And I feel your pain.
