** STOP CENSORSHIP! **
Our censorship fight with the US Congress is far from over, as they continue to attempt to break the Internet with legislations driven by crony capitalism in the US and abroad. Though SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act) have been pulled back for now, more continue to follow them. Now, we have to contend with ACTA (more) and TPP (2), which are international attempts to censor and control the Internet for the sake of commerce. And if that's not enough, now there's CISPA (more).
Go to EFF.org to keep up with the legal news that impacts our world and its technology. The greed won't stop, so we have to stay vigilant as well. Especially now that lobbyists are admitting out loud that they expect to be rewarded for their "contributions": Read it on TorrentFreakThanks for visiting!

Panic Is Not The Option
I was reminded of two things over the weekend: If you’re too invested in anything, then you won’t see straight and will make bad decisions. The youth of the world do not feel a part of our society, so many … Continue reading
Believing Means Everything
Navy Seals are among the most feared warriors in the world. The video above shows why. Such dedication to your craft will inspire that same level of excellence in others. That’s hard to do, but so worth it. Master Chief … Continue reading
Fascination
Have you ever been so obsessed about something, but don’t really get why you’re fascinated? I’ve been going through this phase for quite a while with an unknown car that I frequently pass … Continue reading
Warning to Newcomers – Nothing Light Here
Just a friendly warning to newcomers who feel they’ve stumbled on chewing gum as they crossed this blog’s threshold: Like any cop says to a passerby of an accident scene, “Nothing (light) to see here, so just keep moving!” The … Continue reading
And They Don’t See The Irony Now?
Please tell me that someone else sees the irony in this NY Times piece: At a Hacker Conference, Plenty of Friendly Feds. If you’ve been reading some of my posts, then you already know that I … Continue reading
Another Thought For The Day – Find Your Voice
Hi everyone! While I was perusing the comments (from lots of unique starting points?!) and chuckling at the irony that they’re all hitting only those posts that others have commented on (I’ve written tons more … Continue reading
Filter Out A Personalized Internet
We think that all information is readily available to us. In the past, we had libraries where we went to dwell in all of the knowledge that mankind had acquired. Sure, it was tough to find everything as that information … Continue reading
Dear World
Today seems like a good day to write a letter to my fellow journeyers of life on this Pale Blue Dot. It won’t be a long one, but I think that it’s … Continue reading
Love Is Universal Yet Unheard
This video of Noam Chomsky’s take on “Love: Life’s Empty Without It” from Big Think really brings home how close we are to one another, without realizing it. Life is not fair for everyone, and there are many who do … Continue reading
