We Are Waiting

As we struggle, we also wait. We’re waiting for something to happen. Something that means change. Something that means hope. Something that simply means something precious to us all. Its spark is still a small one, and yet it is starting to swell. We can actually see its birth and first tender steps. We are aware that those initial steps are tentative, and will cause some things to fall. But those things that fall are only things that stand in the way of this desired change. We are in awe of its potential. There is no place on Earth where the spark won’t reach, as long as there is someone open to it. Within each of those regions, there are those who sense that spark, and push away their own desires because there is something that they want more.

Freedom

  • Freedom from constraints
  • Freedom from denial
  • Freedom from negativity
  • Freedom from bigotry
  • Freedom from preconceptions
  • Freedom from barriers
  • Freedom from everything that stops us from reaching our potential

So we are waiting. We wait for equality. We wait for prosperity. We wait for acceptance. We wait for understanding. We wait for love. We wait for hope. We wait for change. We wait for that perfect moment when we will all get what we cherish the most. Freedom to be ourselves without fear or repercussions.

We are waiting for someone to stretch out a hand to pull us out of the darkness. The spark is there, so just reach for it. A hand will be waiting to bring you forward. And that’s when your journey will truly start. We’re counting on you, as much as you’re counting on us. So let go of the ties that bind and choose freedom. One person will become two, then four, until eventually there will be an army to ensure that change will happen. Until then, we are waiting for the spark to reach us.
