Geo-Cosmos, Our Beautiful Earth

The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo, Japan is currently displaying a remarkable globe consisting of a multitude of organic LEDs. The Tsunagari (meaning: connection) Project uses observation data from worldwide sources to build a view of our planet that we would never see unless it all came together. Now we can see our part within this fragile eco-system without leaving the surface, and perhaps learn to co-exist in ways that need to be pursued for a more cohesive and thoughtful existence. There are four segments to this project that allow for interactivity and more: Geo-Cosmos, Geo-Scope, Geo-Palette, and AuthaGraph.

Go to the official Miraikan Tsunagari website to get detailed information about this timely and necessary project. To have people come together to view “Earth without the center” is simply beautiful.
