I caught this video, Creative Tanks, as I was hunting through Vimeo for treasures, and it really struck a note because so many of us are caught in this endless cycle at work. I love the main character, a fumbling creator who just doesn’t fit in. But what really gets me excited is that this video was created by students at The Animation School in Cape Town, South Africa: Paul Lombard, Jason Brown, Ruan Pienaar, and Marthinus Spangenberg.

The winning story is sad, beautiful, mesmerizing and oddly comforting. What a wonderful piece! There is some serious animation talent coming from this school!
