Fonts With A Cause

It’s not often that a font set will impact your heart almost immediately. I saw the first letter A and wanted to cry for the people of Thailand. Those of us who don’t live near water don’t understand the impact of floods. What’s more difficult to understand is that we probably had a hand at causing the increased frequency of floods on the coastal regions. There’s no continent that isn’t affected, though the inner communities will be spared the pains for now. But for how long is anyone’s guess as we keep ignoring our effect on nature. This is a case of an equal and opposite reaction. We put pollutants into nature and nature reacts in ways to expel them. I wonder how long it will be before we actually really get what we’re doing? We only have one planet, and we should be taking much better care of it.

In the meantime, the BBDO Bangkok’s FFF Project wants to help so they’ve created fonts with a cause. Download the fonts, donate to the Thai Red Cross Society, and help a people make it through a natural disaster like no other they’ve ever experienced.
