Isn’t this a gorgeous and powerful image? Shikhei Goh of Indonesia won the grand prize for the 2011 National Geographic Photography Contest with this beautiful image of a dragonfly hanging on with all of his might when a sudden rain storm appears. The colors are so warm and alive, even in a wet environment. Dragonflies are simply wonderful to look at, and this image is mesmerizing in all of its glory.
