** STOP CENSORSHIP! **
Our censorship fight with the US Congress is far from over, as they continue to attempt to break the Internet with legislations driven by crony capitalism in the US and abroad. Though SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act) have been pulled back for now, more continue to follow them. Now, we have to contend with ACTA (more) and TPP (2), which are international attempts to censor and control the Internet for the sake of commerce. And if that's not enough, now there's CISPA (more).

Especially now that lobbyists are admitting out loud that they expect to be rewarded for their "contributions": Read it on TorrentFreakThanks for visiting!

No matter where you look, there seems to be an uprising in progress. Poverty, social injustices, crime, ignorance, prejudice…it’s all developing into a stark picture that society is breaking down because it’s stopped evolving. Much like a child spoilt rotten, … Continue reading
Trains of Thought
After my attempt at free association this weekend, I realized that my problem isn’t too little inspiration but too much of it. Instead of clarity, I now have other projects that want to come to life! It’s hard to finish … Continue reading
Just Because
Today, I’m going to try something new. I’m going to pick whatever triggers my mind and just go with it. And whatever I do, it’s going to be done with no intentions. I know how hard that is since everything … Continue reading
All We See Are Patterns
Robert Krulwich has done it again with an introduction to Kurt Vonnegut’s diagrams for storytelling. The comparative imagery (Abstruse Goose) he uses in conjunction with the video is quite an informative description of perception according to personality or trade. Or … Continue reading
Ah… Popularity
It’s all around us! That never-ending quest to be at the top of the mountain. To be the one in control, with others clinging to your every word and action. We’ve all grown up with this monkey on our backs. … Continue reading
What’s in a Face?
The perfect specimen just doesn’t exist! The quest to create the perfect anything has driven industries to the edge of destruction as well as the edge of creativity. You’ve passed those brainstorming meetings…the ones where insults are flying as fast … Continue reading
Staring Into the Abyss
Peter Thiel is once again challenging societal norms. But this time, he’s questioning the integrity of an educational system that has not paid back on its investments. We have always been told that if we seek to better ourselves with … Continue reading
Digital Seedlings Make Forests Into Trees
As far as the eye could see, all I saw were mighty trees. They’d overgrown my initial plan, probably because I’d lost my sight because of all the beauty. It’d started simply enough. In my innocence, I planted that seedling … Continue reading
Perception
“Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.” We hear these words often, but do we really pay attention to the incorporated warning? Every product that is created will have fans and haters. Some people think that Scions are ugly, … Continue reading
Insomnia Leads to Melody
I am a night owl! When people are fast asleep, I am just getting started. My neighbors call me a bat. I guess it fits since I love to wear black and always look shell shocked when I see the … Continue reading
