** STOP CENSORSHIP! **
Our censorship fight with the US Congress is far from over, as they continue to attempt to break the Internet with legislations driven by crony capitalism in the US and abroad. Though SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act) have been pulled back for now, more continue to follow them. Now, we have to contend with ACTA (more) and TPP (2), which are international attempts to censor and control the Internet for the sake of commerce. And if that's not enough, now there's CISPA (more).

Especially now that lobbyists are admitting out loud that they expect to be rewarded for their "contributions": Read it on TorrentFreakThanks for visiting!

Outspoken Sources – Fiction, Taboos, and Opinions by JESSE Novels
So, I’ve started a new category called Outspoken Sources. I’ve always wanted to share my blog with others, so that I can see topics from different perspectives. And what better way than to open up my blog to 2-way communications? … Continue reading
Google World Wonders
While we’re all lamenting about whether Google really adheres to their “Don’t be evil” ideals, we can all admit that they’ve got some pretty big ideas. Needless to say, I didn’t realize that their Street View images would turn into … Continue reading
Finding Ties That Bind
Sometimes comments make you chuckle – like this one from Boing Boing. Maggie did a piece on Girl Scout cookies that spoke of the eternal struggle over which is the best type of cookie. Now there … Continue reading

Moon Landing
How about a little whimsy with your morning coffee? I found this image (on Reddit) which takes your breath away if you’re a lunar fanatic like I am. My head is running rampant with potential story lines from this one. … Continue reading
Newsroom’s Most Honest 3 Minutes
So, in this time of elections and national chest beating, we don’t always expect to hear honest answers. Especially when the source is the newsroom. Or in this case, the HBO series called The Newsroom. It’s not often that you’ll … Continue reading
A Thought About Leadership
So, we’re still talking about leaders as some kind of necessity in life. I’m not so sure anymore. But what I can say about this image of Obama is that it’s showing something we hardly see anymore in any of … Continue reading
